Dr. Rajeev Sudhakar, MD, FACC, FASE, FSNC, FCCT is a board-certified cardiologist. As a medical graduate from India, the desire to learn and acquire the best possible clinical skills and access to medical advances led Dr. Sudhakar to pursue a career in cardiovascular medicine in the USA. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and CV Fellowship from Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. Having gathered the expertise, Dr. Sudhaker wanted to serve and dedicate his initial years of practice to a relatively underserved area in Saginaw, MI. He practiced there successfully for six years and was chosen to be the section chief at a fairly early stage due to his excellent leadership skills and vision for better and quality patient care.
Dr. Sudhaker has now moved to Dallas, TX, along with his family, which includes his wife and three young children with a dream to continue to serve his patients, grow in his profession and provide the opportunities of a metropolitan city for his family.
His areas of expertise include preventive Cardiology, waiting for symptoms to occur is sometimes too late, and he believes in educating his patients on healthy lifestyle modifications as the first and most effective step towards achieving a healthy heart.
In addition to preventive cardiology, Dr. Sudhakar specializes in Hypertention, Lipid Disorders, Congestive Heart Failure and Cardio-Oncology.
