Michael Eifling, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist with the expert cardiology team at HeartPlace. He sees patients at the practice’s offices in North Richland Hills and Arlington, Texas. Dr. Eifling is also double-board certified in cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine.

Dr. Eifling believes that spending time and listening to patients is the key to choosing the best treatment options. He partners with his patients and feels strongly that the patient-doctor relationship requires input from both sides. By educating patients about their condition and the available treatments, they can choose the best option together. He prides himself on being available to his patients, having a great bedside manner, and providing cutting-edge heart rhythm care.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Eifling has led medical expeditions to remote regions of the Himalayan mountains. On these trips, he provided care to under-served residents of India and Tibet and directed the care of patients with rheumatic heart disease.

Recently, Dr. Eifling organized a team of heart rhythm doctors to perform complex ablation procedures and cardiac device implants in Cambodia. Dr. Eifling is actively engaged in research and clinical trials. As a result, you may get a new treatment before it is available to everyone.
