Manikumar Bheemarasetti, MBBS, MD, RPVI, is a board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases, and internal medicine. He is proud to serve patients at HeartPlace in Arlington, Texas.

Dr. Bheemarasetti has extensive training and academic appointments. He received his medical training from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India, and then went to the United Kingdom to complete post-graduate training in emergency medicine/internal medicine. 

Afterward, he relocated to the United States and completed his internship in internal medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland before completing his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Bheemarasetti pursued his interventional cardiology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and spent two years of his time at this highly esteemed institute that is recognized for its complex cases and high volume. 

During his career, Dr. Bheemarasetti has done over 1,000 intervention procedures. He specializes in transradial coronary intervention, complex coronary intervention (such as using rotational atherectomy for severely calcified coronary arteries), left main bifurcations, and also using LV assist devices (such as Impella® for complex coronary interventions/situations). He also specializes in structural heart intervention, such as balloon aortic valvuloplasty, alcohol septal ablation as a primary operator, and TAVR as assistant. 

A registered physician in vascular interpretation, Dr. Bheemarasetti also performs all diagnostic peripheral angiograms, carotid angiograms, renal angiograms, and peripheral interventions with directional atherectomy. Dr. Bheemarasetti's goal is to partner with patients to understand the cardiovascular disease process and minimize the risk factors. 

He speaks fluently his mother tongue Telugu, English, and Hindi. Dr. Bheemarasetti is married to a nephrologist and blessed with a daughter and a son. He enjoys swimming, tennis, and watching movies.
