Providers / Astrid Serauto, MD

Dr. Astrid Serauto earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela Luis Razetti Medical School. She completed her residency in internal medicine, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular disease and cardiology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Before moving to Dallas, she served as an interventional cardiology assistant professor at UTHeath Houston from 2022-2024, where she taught medical students and fellows. Dr. Serauto is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology.
As a specialist in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and structural cardiology, she is also skilled in non-invasive procedures, including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Her primary clinical interests include percutaneous interventions for coronary disease, peripheral arterial disease, valvular disease, and cardiogenic shock. She was also trained in Cardio-Oncology at UTHealth-MD Anderson, treating a variety of cardiovascular diseases in cancer patients.
A bilingual cardiologist fluent in English and Spanish, she is an advocate for preventive cardiology and women’s cardiovascular health. Her practice philosophy focuses on building long-lasting relationships with her patients and providing high-quality, personalized and individualized care.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and dog, exercising outdoors, and traveling. She is passionate about soccer, tennis, and martial arts.
