John Bret, MD, is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases, internal medicine, and interventional cardiology. He provides comprehensive, high-quality care at HeartPlace in Garland and Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Bret has been in practice since 1984 and speaks English and Spanish. He earned his undergraduate degree at Texas A & M University in College Station. Dr. Bret went to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for his medical degree and then went on to complete his internship and residency at University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin, Texas. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Bret has been recognized for his work. He was on the Super Doctors list in 2010 and D Magazine’s Best Doctors (Cardiology) in 2010.
