Olusegun Oyenuga, MD, FACC, FHRS, is a board-certified clinical cardiac electrophysiologist. He sees patients at the Plano, Allen, Richardson, and Dallas, Texas, locations of HeartPlace. He is board certified in cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Oyenuga graduated medical school from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. He then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, and was named Chief Resident his final year. He completed his fellowships in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiology at the University of Chicago in Illinois.
To stay up to date on the latest advancements in his field, Dr. Oyenuga is a member of several professional organizations. Along with being a member, he is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology.
His work on the topic of cardiac health has been published in numerous medical journals, including the Heart Rhythm Journal.
