Sumeet Chhabra, MD, is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, cardiology, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Chhabra’s practice exclusively focuses on delivering minimally invasive and state-of-the-art electrophysiology services to the population of North Texas at HeartPlace’s locations in Garland, Plano, and Richardson, Texas.
Dr. Chhabra has served as Medical Director of Electrophysiology Services at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano since 2015. He has also been the Assistant Medical Director of Electrophysiology Services at Methodist Richardson Hospital since 2014.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and earned his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Chhabra completed his medical residency, cardiology fellowship, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The recipient of numerous medical honors and awards, Dr. Chhabra has a wide range of medical interests and maintains hospital affiliations at numerous hospitals in North Texas.
