Gautam Reddy, MD, MS, FACC, FSCAI, is a multiple board-certified cardiologist serving adults and teens at the Plano, Texas, office of HeartPlace. Dr. Reddy is board-certified in interventional cardiology, echocardiography, cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, and nuclear cardiology. He’s also a registered vascular specialist.
Dr. Reddy began his professional education at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India, where he earned his undergraduate degree. Afterward, he moved to the United States and completed a residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Mansfield.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Reddy completed three fellowships: one in cardiovascular disease at the University of Connecticut Health Center, one in interventional cardiology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and the third and most recent fellowship focused on interventional cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Reddy also received training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Reddy has special interests in vascular interpretation and laser therapy for varicose veins. Outside of HeartPlace, he serves as medical director of interventional cardiovascular disease at Medical City Plano.
Dr. Reddy holds hospital privileges at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Plano, Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital Plano, Medfinity Health Plano, Medical City Frisco, and Texas Health Allen.
