Iyad Rashdan, MD, is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. He provides comprehensive care to patients at HeartPlace in Southlake and Bedford, Texas.
Dr. Rashdan completed his residency in internal medicine at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, part of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and his cardiology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.
He then completed two and a half years of fellowship in interventional cardiology at the Montreal Heart Institute in Canada and the University of Oklahoma in Norman, as well as one year of fellowship in echocardiography at the Montreal Heart Institute and the Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris in France. Additionally, Dr. Rashdan completed five years of training in medicine and cardiology.
He has published several scientific articles related to the field of cardiovascular disease. Dr. Rashdan speaks English, Arabic, and French.
