Melissa Coltman, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and an electrophysiology nurse practitioner, proudly serving her patients at HeartPlace in Garland, Frisco, Plano, and Richardson, Texas alongside with Dr. Sumeet Chhabra. Melissa is a warm, compassionate health care provider with a special interest in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and an impeccable skill set to care for her patients.

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She continued on to receive her Master of Science in nursing at Texas Women’s University in Dallas, Texas, and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

As a critical member of the HeartPlace team, Melissa is valued for approaching her work with the utmost integrity. She has touched the lives of many individuals and families in North Texas. 

She’s known for listening to her patients with patience, kindness, and concern, communicating well with them, and always giving them her undivided attention. She also enjoys empowering her patients to achieve their personal health care goals.
